Nicola Luongo

Nicola is a Full Stack Developer at FYC with a versatile skill set that includes proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Phoenix Elixir, and Express. Nicola is well-equipped to tackle any challenge thrown his way. When it comes to front-end applications, his affinity for React’s approach is evident, having utilized it since its inception almost a decade ago. Nicola’s expertise extends to React Native as well, having successfully launched multiple applications utilizing the framework.

As a graduate of the University of Arkansas with dual majors in Mathematics and Computer Systems Engineering, Nicola’s journey into web development was driven by an insatiable curiosity about how web and mobile apps function.

Outside of the tech world, Nicola’s passion for boxing speaks to their competitive spirit and drive for excellence. Their multicultural experiences, having lived in Chile, the US, and Italy, have enriched his soft skills and broadened his perspective. Currently, Nicola is dedicated to mastering his Japanese language in his spare time, inspired by his spouse’s Japanese heritage. Together, they are raising a daughter and eagerly anticipate the growth of their family in the years to come.
