Milken Institute

Revolutionizing Grant Applications with Innovative Web App Solutions

Challenge:

The challenge for Milken was migrating the Community Infrastructure Center’s proof of concept from Google Cloud to AWS after securing AWS credits. The original project was rapidly developed, requiring a full code refactor to fit AWS. Key concerns included security, data integrity, uptime, and seamless AI-driven grant matching via OpenGrants’ API. The platform also had to enable connections between sponsors and service providers while proving viability, security, and scalability to Milken Institute stakeholders under tight timelines.

Solution:

FYC provided a comprehensive solution for the Community Infrastructure Center by developing a platform that connected project sponsors with service providers, ensuring efficient funding matches through AI-powered integrations. The team migrated the project from Google Cloud Platform to AWS, optimizing infrastructure and security. FYC implemented an intuitive UI/UX design to enhance user accessibility while utilizing agile project management to prioritize high-impact features.
